HEALTH INFORMATION
All of our puppies are raised indoors..mother is wormed before she whelps and once puppies are born. Whelping box is disinfected every other day and bedding is changed daily up to 2 times or more, if needed. Puppies are wormed starting at 2 weeks and we continue the bi-weekly worming schedule until puppies are 8 weeks and leave to their forever homes. All our dogs are treated on a bi-monthly schedule to prevent intestinal parasites and bacteria. With this being said puppies can re infest themselves in the most sterile of environments, that is why we highly suggest you taking your puppy to your vet within three days, once he/she is picked up.
BRITT LABRADOR RULES
The health of our dogs and puppies are our top priority at Britt Labradors. With that being said we have certain rules that must be followed.
We do not allow any visitors before the puppies have received their first vaccines at 6 weeks of age.
We do not allow visitors to visit where the puppies are whelped and raised to avoid contamination.
We ask that you do not visit other kennels/pounds etc. 2 weeks prior to visiting our home.
When visiting the puppies you will be asked to wash your hands and use hand sanitizer, which will be provided.

PUPPY HEALTH GUARANTEE
We offer a health guarantee for the first 3 days after they leave our home. Within this 3 days the puppy must be seen by a Vet, if not seen by a vet within 3 days the health guarantee will be VOIDED. PLEASE NOT THAT PARASITES ARE A COMMON ISSUE IN ANIMALS, ESPECIALLY YOUNG ANIMALS, AND ARE EASILY TREATED; THEREFORE THESE ARE EXCLUDED FROM OUR GUARANTEE. Puppies can develop diarrhea from becoming stressed which can include anything from a new environment, long car ride or even separation from siblings. We also ask that if you decide to feed different food that you slowly transistion them with the food we provide to avoid stomach upset.
We also offer lifetime guarantee against your puppy being AFFECTED with; CNM,EIC,PRA and DM. Which are common diseases that affect the Labrador breed.
We DO NOT provide a guarantee for Hips or Elbows because there are too many environmental impacts, PLEASE SEE OUR BUYERS CONTRACT/PUPPY GUARANTEE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
We do ask that for the best interest of your puppy that you follow our suggestions, which are as follows; puppy should be fed a large breed puppy food until 1 year of age and a quality grade adult food, thereafter. Puppy must be given daily exercise in MODERATION. DO NOT start Jogging, agility, Jumping, heavy or competitive field training or any impact prone activity which may damage the puppy's bone or muscle structure during its active growth period until it has reached a MINIMUM of 18 months old. Also the dog should not be overfed for its height/structure and should receive regular check ups with your Vet.
If for any reason you cannot keep your puppy/dog we will always welcome them back to our home. We DO NOT offer money back or replacement pups because the dog has not been trained properly or you have had a change of heart.
